Hydraulic elevators principle of technology

Hydraulic elevator systems lift a car using a hydraulic ram, a fluid-driven piston mounted inside a cylinder. This elevator do not require pit and machineroom. This elevator works on gravity principles. To move cabin up hydraulic oil is pumped inside the piston attached to cabin. To move cabin down only gravitational force is used saving huge electricity cost.
